Campervan Electrical & Solar Systems
A reliable electrical system is the foundation of every campervan. We design and install complete campervan electrical systems for reliable off grid travel, tailored to your vehicle, travel style and energy needs.
From solar panels and lithium batteries to inverters, chargers, 12V and 230V wiring, we build safe and reliable electrical systems that let you travel with confidence.
What We Install
Choose a complete campervan electrical system or only the parts you need. Every component can be installed as part of a new build or added to an existing campervan.
Solar Panels
Roof mounted solar panels professionally installed with waterproof cable entry and secure mounting. We choose the right panel size and layout for your roof and travel needs.
Campervan Batteries
Lithium or AGM battery systems sized around your actual power consumption, so you have enough energy without paying for capacity you don't need.
Inverters
Pure sine wave inverters for safely powering 230V appliances from your batteries. Correctly sized, protected and matched to your electrical system.
Charging Systems
Complete charging solutions including solar charging, alternator charging while driving and shore power when connected at a campsite.
12V Electrical System
Professional installation of lighting, fridge, water pump, diesel heater, roof fans, USB sockets and other 12V equipment with properly sized wiring and fuse protection.
230V Electrical System
Safe 230V installation including campsite hookup, RCD protection, circuit breakers and interior sockets, fully separated from the 12V system.
Campervan Lighting
Interior, reading, kitchen, ambient and exterior lighting designed for everyday travel, with dimming where appropriate.
Smart Monitoring
Monitor battery level, charging and power consumption from your phone, so you always know how your electrical system is performing.
How We Work
Understanding Your Travel Style
We discuss how you travel, how long you stay off grid, what equipment you use, which seasons you travel in and whether you work from your campervan.
Designing the System
We calculate your daily power consumption and design the electrical system around it. Then we agree on the components, specification and final price.
Professional Installation
We install solar panels, batteries, charging systems, wiring and distribution with proper cable routing, fuse protection and attention to every detail.
Testing & Handover
Every system is fully tested before delivery. You receive a labelled electrical panel and a wiring diagram, making future servicing or upgrades much easier.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much solar power do I need for a campervan?+
It depends on how you use your campervan, not just the size of the vehicle.
A system for lights, a fridge, water pump and phone charging is very different from one designed to run a laptop, induction cooker or other high power equipment.
We first calculate your daily energy usage and then choose the right combination of solar panels, batteries and charging systems. We do not use fixed packages because every campervan and travel style is different.
Lithium or AGM batteries?+
Lithium batteries cost more initially, but they provide more usable energy, charge faster and usually last much longer.
AGM batteries can still be a good choice for simpler setups, occasional travel or a smaller budget. We help you choose the option that makes sense for your needs.
Can I run an induction cooker or air conditioning in my campervan?+
Yes, but these devices require a properly designed electrical system. Battery capacity, inverter power and wiring must all be planned from the beginning.
If you want to use high power appliances, tell us during the planning stage. Adding them later can require expensive upgrades.
Can you install solar on an existing campervan?+
Yes. Adding solar panels, batteries or an inverter to an existing campervan is one of our common projects.
We inspect the existing electrical system first, then explain what can be safely reused and what should be improved.
Will my campervan electrical system work in winter?+
Yes, but winter travel requires proper planning.
Solar production is lower during Nordic winters, so a reliable system should also include charging while driving and, when needed, connection to external power.
We design the system based on your travel conditions and make sure the batteries and components are suitable for colder temperatures.
Will I receive documentation for the electrical system?+
Yes. We provide a wiring diagram and a clearly labelled electrical panel.
This makes future maintenance, upgrades or repairs much easier, even if the work is done by another technician.
